Mini Camping REST MAY ROMTE is located on a small quiet country road between Drachten and Surhuisterveen. You are welcome at our cozy family campsite where there is a peaceful atmosphere on the 2 fields which are surrounded by trees and shrubs. More and more people want to get away from the daily worries and look for the peace and charms of a mini-camp in Frysl n. Next to the parking lot is a petting zoo whose animals you can feed.

"For the more active camper there is approx.4 km the nature reserve ""De Leyen"" and 8 km the Beetsterzwaagster forests. A subtropical swimming pool is in Drachten at 7 km from the campsite. In addition to walking and cycling routes, there are also plenty of paths for horse riding. You do not have to cycle that far for suitable fishing water, because there is enough fishing water in Fryl n. Also for culture lovers there is the museum farm 'Ot en Sien' in Surhuisterveen. In Harkema (5 km) you can see a very old spitkeet (turf hut) at the poor Frisian heath and in Drachten you will find the Smallingerland museum (definitely worth a visit). For a day of shopping you can go to Surhuisterveen or Drachten. In Tijnje (10 km) cheese farm De Deelen stands for a nice piece of cheese and in Veenklooster is the Fogelsangh State museum. Furthermore, there is the Alde Fryske cherk and mound route in Frysl n.Each caravan has a separate power connection of 10 amp. and there is a water tap on the site. In the spring and summer it is a true paradise for lovers of flowers and birds. For those who love BBQ, camping R st mei Romte is unique because we are a specialized company in the field of BBQ.But of course you can also come to us for a piece of meat or pork chop. The local bakery also visits the campsite once a day.For fresh eggs you do not have to go further than the chicken coop under the guise of ""self-service"". The sanitary room is fully tiled and heated. In addition to 3 toilets, there are 2 showers and 2 washbasins for personal care. We have also thought about laundry, and that is why there is a washing machine and tumble dryer at your disposal.We find the necessary addresses and telephone numbers of the emergency services important for our guests.
