Landgoed Julianahoeve

Helenaveen, North Brabant

Near Helenaveen between the nature Door Serbian Peel and Maria Peel Estate is Julianahoeve.De Julianahoeve was built in 1910 as one of the 11 Koningshoeven. Until 2008, the farm was used as an agricultural company. In that year, the government buys up the existing dairy farm and a large part of the land for nature development. Part of the agricultural buildings will be demolished and the Julianahoeve with surrounding natural grounds will be classified as an estate under the Natural Beauty Act. In 2016 we, Frederik and Esther, discovered this beautiful place somewhat by accident.

The farm, although now somewhat dilapidated, has a beautiful location, a bit further from the road and in the middle of the greenery. In addition, the cultural-historical value is high, which in our opinion deserved a new lease of life. When we were able to move into the Julianahoeve in 2017, we immediately got to work on the much-needed renovation. We are also starting to work out plans to enable small-scale recreational accommodation on the estate. This place is worth letting others enjoy. The foundation has now been laid and we hope to receive the first guests at our mini campsite in 2021. In the near future we also hope to realize a number of guest accommodations in our beautiful old hay barn.
