Camping Doornenbal is a campsite, located in the middle of the Mijnden polder (Gemeenste Stichtse Vecht). Our elongated fields provide a beautiful view and yet the necessary privacy. Our motto is: "Enjoy and rest in nature!" and that is exactly what you will find. Although we are a fifteen minute drive from Amsterdam, Utrecht and Hilversum, it is quiet with us. You are not awakened by the sound of cars racing past, but by the silence and sounds of the animals around you. As a company we are active in protecting meadow birds and the precious nature in our polder. This is also noticeable at the campsite. You will not find cultivated hedges and gardens, but a lawn surrounded by very old pollard willows (some over 70 years old), which offer protection against wind and sun and the sun.
