"Mini camping ""de Polmate"" is located in the outskirts of Terwolde (between Deventer and Apeldoorn), on the edge of the Veluwe, in the IJsselzoom, a few hundred meters from the IJssel. In a rural setting with views of meadows with horses, sheep, donkeys and goats nearby. There are also regularly hares and pheasants around our mini campsite. All this under the skyline of Deventer. To save our beautiful turf, we urge you not to use a closed floor covering under your canopy or in your awning!"

You can camp with us, but we also offer BzB (Bed without Breakfast). Behind our farmhouse there is room for a maximum of 8 tents, caravans or campers, so that you can speak of a mini campsite where you can fully unwind. Pets are not allowed on our mini-campsite! There is an almost new, non-smoking toilet block with underfloor heating with 2 toilets, 2 showers and 2 washbasins. We have paid a lot of attention to the design, so no plastic walls and doors, but decent tiling. Showering is free. Also no push button system for showering, but thermostat taps. And enough hooks for your clothes! Wifi is also free! There is plenty of opportunity for bike rides: the mini campsite is located between cycle junction 48 and 87. The Hanzeroute, the Jacobs route, the Mijntjes route,the IJssel Valley route and the Eneco Veluwe route (formerly Gazelle route) are close by. There are various hiking options, for example via the floodplain to Deventer (45 min.) Or the Tuylermarker clog path (11 km) which runs along the mini camp followed by the Woldermarker path (7 km) and the Niebroeker path (14 km). There is also the possibility of fishing and swimming in the summer in a safe part of the IJssel. The center of the Hanseatic city of Deventer is 15 minutes by bike (via the railway bridge). Deventer is known for its events: the book market, the flea markets, Deventer Op Stelten, the Dickens festival and the Humorfestival. Boat trips on the IJssel are other options. You will also find here a toy museum, a Jewish history museum, a history museum,a tropical swimming paradise and extensive shopping facilities. Apeldoorn is 15 km away, with the palace Het Loo , the CODA museum, Apenheul (with climbing forest) and the Julianatoren amusement park. Also Zutphen (20 km) with a beautiful old town is definitely worth a visit. The Bussloo recreational lake with beach, hiking trails and golf course is 12 km away. Here you will also find the sauna-beauty-spa resort Thermen Bussloo. There are also several nice other golf courses in the area.
